Girls Program

The Girls LAX Cats Program is open to girls in grades 1st thru 6th.

Early registration will be open Friday, 1-5-24, through Friday, 1-12-24.

These are the developmental years before competitive play at the middle school and high school level begin. Players at this level will be expected to have a solid foundation of basic skills that allow them to transition to offensive and defensive strategy. Players can expect to begin refining positional play. New players are encouraged to join and will be able to learn from more experienced players.

The spring season will begin in February and conclude mid- to late May, depending on game schedules. All games are doubleheaders played on Sundays with two mid-week practices at Peace Church. Home games will be played at Peace Church.

All players will be required to have an active USA Lacrosse membership. You can purchase or renew your player’s membership here.

LAX Cats Girls Lacrosse Packages

Girls Spring Lacrosse

Registration for our Spring season.

Base Cost: $165.00

Earlier Bird Discount: $15.00

New player pack are available for order during registration.

Practices are held twice a week and Games are typical held on Sundays.

Girls Fall Lacrosse

Registration for our Fall Skills and Drills.

Base Cost: $60 and includes practices and a lax cats pinnie if needed.

Practices are held typical twice a week.

Girls Fall Travel

Registration for the Graveyard Tournament.

Tournament team registration is $115 which includes a special tournament pinnie, a lax cats pinnie, registration for the Graveyard tournament and attendance to all practices.

Practices on Typically held on Sunday Afternoon time is TBD.

USA Lacrosse membership in required.

GIRLS EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

We will have some equipment available to borrow. Once registered, please email the LAX Cats if you are in need of borrowed equipment short term. You can also check out the Pickerington Lacrosse Community on Facebook (Meta) for used equipment.

  • Goggles or Girls Helmet
  • Mouthpiece
  • Stick
  • Cleats (indoor gym shoes for early season indoor conditioning)
