Hi Everyone!
I hope you are enjoying your summer!
I wanted to provide a few updates and expectations for our two fall programs so you can plan accordingly.
- We have almost completed our separation from PYAA and that should be done in early August. This allows us to better partner with surrounding communities who are really excited to assist us in growing lacrosse on the east side of Columbus.
- Our new website www.pickeringtonlacrosse.com is still under development, but coming together nicely.
- Our new registration system is under development and should be operational in the next 10 days.
Our new fall program (please see the attached) will be the best ever and here's why:
- Surrounding communities will be sending their players and coaches which will provide better competition and opportunities to learn from each other.
- We have committments from local college players and coaches to assist with the program.
- We have two offerings that will hopefully appeal to players who play multiple sports.
- More games (in the past fall was all developmental and we believe games are fun for the kids to learn and perfect for new lacrosse parents to get introduced to the game.
- We are looking into opportunities for 7th and 8th graders as well, but do not have the details worked out yet.
- Please start talking to your friends who may be interested in playing this fall and look for updates coming soon when the new registration site is ready for you to sign up.
